That remit extends naturally across both brands: his read on a client's situation helps shape how an engagement is framed and structured, whether it runs through Eunity Partners' search practice or through a Convened operator deployment.


His value lies in exceptional depth in retail and consumer, paired with broad functional expertise across merchandising, marketing, commercial strategy, P&L leadership and M&A. That lets him engage clients as a true operator and peer — and bring a clear-eyed view of what drives enterprise value in consumer-facing businesses to the way engagements are designed across both brands.


Jim's operating career spans more than three decades of senior leadership in global retail. He served as EVP Chief Merchandising Officer at DSW, scaling a $3B+ P&L to a four-year CAGR of 5% and pioneering a vertically integrated exclusive-brands model. His earlier roles include President and Chief Merchandising Officer at Beyond the Rack, SVP roles at Burlington and Robinsons-May, and Group President at Kellwood, overseeing brands including Calvin Klein and Democracy. Most recently, as SVP Merchandising, Planning and Marketing at KNS, he has driven AI-led marketing efficiency and synergistic M&A integration.
